

Student Art Competition
Carmel College is a patron of the arts and has a strong culture of supporting new artists especially past pupils. ArtFusions is proud to expand this patronage by inviting all Catholic Schools from the greater Auckland area to encourage their budding artists to submit works to compete, and win a spot in Carmel College’s Art Fusions Exhibition 2017.
Entrants

Registration
There is a non-refundable $10 registration fee.
There is a registration form that needs to be signed by the entrants legal guardian.
Entrants should pick a form up from their school office and return it with $10 in an envelope marked for the
attention of ArtFusions Student Art. OR..
Entrants could go online to register and pay at the Art Fusions website.
Once we receive this registration, you will be contacted via email with delivery dates, times, competition details and your entry ID.
Delivery
Art must be delivered to ArtFusions Staff at Carmel College on either the 27th or 28th March 2017 during school hours.
Conditions
The art must meet the standards laid out in the detail sheets regarding size, packaging and quality. Download a detail sheet for each of the categories: Wall Art, Recycled Sculpture and Contained Garden
Judging
Judging takes place from 29th March to 5th April. Winners will be announced by email on 5th April 2017. There is a panel of judges and their decision is final.
Winners
There will be several winners, whose art will be held for silent auction or top end ‘buy now’ at the ArtFusions Exhibition 2017 on 29th and 30th April 2017.
The Prize
The prize is to exhibit their art at ArtFusions 2017, where they will have exposure to art collectors and hopefully sell their art. All artists are entitled to 65% of the selling price at close of sales on Sunday 30th April 2017.
Voting
The public visiting the exhibition will also vote for the overall best piece of art in each category. ‘Voted Best’ Prize winners will be announced on 30th April 2017.
